Ten strand high oval collar of Baltic amber chips and nuggets, the pieces more ‘creamy’ in color date to a much earlier time period, and are referred to by Russians as “Royal Amber”–from Estonia, Latvia, Russia, Poland and Lithuania. Featuring an antique silver carved camel as pendant, set with two yellow tiger’s eye ovals and two turquoise rounds, embellished by raised depictions of animal figures, birds, and other creatures–from Mongolia, circa late 1800′s. Sterling silver wide discs–Hilltribe work of Northern Thailand, 24 karat gold plated bronze rings and openwork rounds (end beads)–from the Baoule tribes of Cameroon, using the lost wax technique. White brass thin discs–Thailand; brown and blonde water buffalo horn discs, rounds, drops and tiny rounds–Indonesia. Brass heishi–from the Philippines. Faceted silver tiny ellipsoids–India.
